The White Man's Burden Assignment
Born in British India in 1865, Rudyard Kipling was a British writer who published numerous stories and ballads. One of most famous poems is "The White Man's Burden" as an appeal to the US who wanted to 'develop' the Philippines, which was recently won in the Spanish-American War.
